Who We Are

The South Alabama Youth Football League (SAYFL) is a governing association composed of independent member football and cheer organizations that work together to provide a safe, fair, and well-organized competitive environment for youth athletics.

SAYFL does not operate individual football or cheer programs. Each member organization is independently owned and responsible for athlete registration, coach selection, parent communication, and daily operations.

The league establishes and administers the bylaws, rules, eligibility standards, and operating procedures that govern competition among its member organizations. Led by the presidents and designated representatives of each organization, SAYFL promotes consistency, accountability, sportsmanship, and player safety while preserving the integrity of league competition.

Our purpose is to unite member organizations under a common standard of excellence, ensuring every participant has the opportunity to compete in an environment founded on fairness, respect, and integrity

Our Vision

To be the most trusted and respected youth sports league in South Alabama, uniting independent organizations through strong leadership, consistent standards, and a shared commitment to safe, fair, and competitive athletic opportunities for young athletes.

By fostering collaboration among our member organizations, SAYFL strives to strengthen youth football and cheerleading while promoting integrity, sportsmanship, and excellence in league competition.
